For almost 2 decades Tyler has been working to show that worship is not just a style of music, but a lifestyle, one that is lived out on and off stage through a relationship with Christ and intentional relationships with others.
Whether the event or gathering is 15 people or 15,000, Tyler’s goal is to bring the same passion and energy to help facilitate and create an environment where people can encounter God in a tangible way. Starting in 8th grade, he has led both locally and across the country in a variety of venues, from churches and Disciple Now weekends to Christ In Youth MOVE Conferences and youth camps. He has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with For King & Country, Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, Big Daddy Weave, and many others.
He currently lives in Leander, TX with his wife Caitlin, their two children, and the family dog, Jonesy. Since 2015, Tyler has served as Worship Pastor at Highpoint Fellowship in Cedar Park, TX.
As a songwriter, Tyler strives to write meaningful and relatable music for the church with the message of the hope that comes from Jesus Christ, pulling inspiration for his lyrics from personal experience, the stories of others, sermon series, and prayer. Over the last 7 years, Tyler has released over 30 original songs and several Christmas recordings (not including several he and his wife have written together to inspire their children to try new things while eating dinner.) Tyler’s aim and hope for his work is to have it be used in corporate worship, serve the church, and help further God’s Kingdom.
